Celtic manager Tony Mowbray will allow Paul Hartley and Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink to leave the club for free this summer.
Defender Hartley and striker Vennegoor Of Hesselink - 32 and 30-years-old respectively - will not be offered new contracts at the club.
"I had a good long conversation with Paul. He came in to see me." Mowbray told BBC Sport.
"The outcome of that is Paul won't be offered a new contract. He is free to look for other employment.
"I have had no contact with Jan. Jan is out of contract - he is free to seek other employment and I'm pretty sure that's what he will be doing."
Hartley has reportedly been offered a deal by Greek club Iraklis Thessaloniki, while Hearts may also be keen to take him back to Tynecastle.
Vennegoor of Hesselink, who played for PSV Eindhoven before joining Celtic, could move back to the Netherlands to finish his playing career.
Meanwhile, Mowbray is hopeful of securing the services of Nancy striker Marc-Antoine Fortune, who spent the end of last season on loan at West Bromwich Albion.
