HELP! Trouble in CM starting after re-install WinXP

After I re-install Windows XP system. Championship Manager 01/02 gave error message: "THERE IS NOT ENOUGH AVAILABLE SYSTEM MEMORY TO CREATE THE GAME. PLEASE FREE UP SOME MORE AND TRY AGAIN". But the windows task manager reported free memory of 500M.  It was running well before the re-installation. So I think there's something (drivers etc.) I didn't install.

I have install driver for the display card and DirectX. Could anybody give me some suggestion of the possible missing part?
