Usher wins clutch of music awards
R&B star Usher took home three awards at the World Music Awards in Las Vegas on Wednesday.
The singer was honoured as world's best male artist, best pop male artist and best R&B artist.
Hollywood star Michael Douglas handed singer Celine Dion the Diamond Award for being one of the top-selling female artists of all time.
The event - based around record sales - was held in US for the first time, after previously being held in Monaco.
Best-selling
Hip-hop act OutKast were also big winners at the ceremony, taking three awards.
They were crowned world's best group, best pop group and best rap/hip-hop artist.
Norah Jones was also a big winner, with awards for world's best female artist and best pop female artist.
The two-hour show, honouring the world's best-selling recording artists, was held at the Thomas & Mack Centre at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Other winners included Avril Lavigne, rock band Evanescence, Alicia Keys, Kanye West and Maroon 5.
