I often fly Iberia from London Heathrow to Barcelona. The staff are indifferent and bored, but I don't mind bringing my own food. On my flight back to Heathrow on Monday. I was sat in the back row, and mid flight smelled smoke - got up, pulled back the curtain to the galley to see a passenger (probably off-duty cabin crew) sat next to the male uniformed crew member smoking a cigarette! A discussion followed, with the director of cabin services, who said the man was stressed and had had a difficult time at Christmas with his family! This was unbelievable. Typical Iberia!
On the plane, they say there was nothing in their manifest and they are all out. Steward says "file a complaint!" I took a look at one of the kids who got a child's meal - no difference between a regular adult meal except for a bag of peanut M&Ms
Sant Jordi 23rd of April. Is like Saint Valentine's in many places. People give roses and books around the streets. Is one of the most popular and interesting celebrations in Catalonia.
Queen's Day. April 30th, but on the April 29th, if the 30th is on Sunday. In celebration of the Queen's birthday (well, actually, the previous queen's birthday) the city is one big fleamarket, there's bands playing, parties. An experience you'll never forget!
