world class player

i am using acmilan, the boss always ask me to get a "world class player"....but i can't buy them....
after the tranfer windows closed...the club said very disappoint to me to haven't get any world class player....ever i bet some...but the player don't come, what can i do?...can anyone help me??

i have the same problem with u
i use wigan 2nd yr and the director request me to sign high-profile player
i have sign 2 players and there's only 1m left
so i sign a non-famous player(search by fm scout with 170 potential)
then the director said he is unpleased and no more transfer budget will be given

haha, a interesting topic, in my save, i have played 10 seasons, there are only one or two world class players...

i can share my experience that if board director force u to purchase a "world class" player,
then u hv to purchase a player who can increase club's "shirt sales", e.g. lampard, gerrard, ibrahimovic, etc.,
which may cost around 50M.......

for the case the director wants a "high profile" player, actually i never encounter such case (maybe i seldom control
small clubs..^^!)..but for my understanding, i think u should purchase a second patch player, i.e. pazzini, tevez, fred,
who has high potential value and already quite a valued player...
