At anytime, a general cannot operate troops more than he can handle.
For example, the liet gen can hold equal or less than 3
During offense, the number of divisions in a battle equals the number of the highest rank thay he can hold
Like if you have a field gen...the number of divisions in the battle =12
With a HQ, it doubles. It means in a battle, 24 divisions can be used. But Field gen can still ONLY DIRECTLY command 12 .
The field gen can hold less than 12, while the other generals fill his space.
Like...The field gen hold a HQ, then 2 more divisions. The other generals can field the remaining 21 divisions.
or HOLD HQ, with 11 more. But he cannot hold 13 directlty.
Then the others fill 12 more. For the others, the liet gen can hold 3 directly, not 4.
For defense, the number of troops in a field is UNLIMITED.
For example, there can be 100 liet gen hold 3 divisions for each of them, which means a province having 300 divisions is also ok.
As long as the generals do not hold more than they can, like not ok for 4 for lieut general. |
