想問, despotism, absolute monarchy 同 dictatorship 有咩分別.

(中間個個比較易, 就係有一個monarch 係到)

I am not at home so i cant type Chinese...
hope u can understand my english.

despotism is similar to absolute monarchy..
however in despotism.... the king views their people as slaves..and requires absolute obedience from their people.
usually they have TOTAL POWER so that they dont have to follow any legislations.
e.g. Egypt ge Pharaoh, and Emperor Qin Shi Huang in China.

absolute monarchy.
let me use an England ge example to explain..
Magna Carta was signed in 1215.It limited the kings' power and required them to respect certain legal procedures and accept that the will of the king could be bound by law.
However Henry VIII was strong enough to make his chancellors and parliement to pass his proposals at his will.
As a result,Monasteries was dissolved and he established himself as "the only Supreme Head in Earth of the Church of England" in 1534.
in conclusion....
Absolute monarchy works under a clear political structure and is bound by law.however they are strong enough to exploit their power and to convince/force the parliament to accept his proposals with no alternative choices.Occassionally they might skip the parliament discussion part and put their own laws to practice.

dictatorship.
a wiki paragraph mayb useful
"Dictatorships in the modern sense tend to exert their power without any regard to the moral or ethical consequences of their actions. They hardly ever come to power by democratic means, often being installed by a coup d'tat or revolution. Often they will assert that they are using their powers to deal with the enormity of some emergency, real or imagined. However, dictators and their governments rarely lay down their power once any such crisis has abated. In the lack thereof, they sometimes invent their own, such as in the Soviet Union under Joseph Stalin."
