I am not familiar with this term either, but I know there are shops which provide 絲印 service for diy products, which means this technique is not too unpopular I guess. The sales at lotto shop claimed that 絲印 is the same as 原裝, but it's cheaper, as it costs only $120. I've asked them to print a gladbach jersey for me and they said ok but this afternoon they phoned and told me that there are no gladbach's printing, how sad. So I asked him if Palermo's printing is available and he told me yes. I may go and ask them to print the palermo's for me. Did anyone try 絲印 before? Is the quality good? If not I won't take my jersey to print.
