As a serious collector in one team only, the abyss will have infinite depth....
If a collector is serious enough, he may set targets first on replicas, and then on player shirts.
Next he will try to extend the collection by epoch or manufacturer sponsorship (e.g. 2000s / Reebok )
After the goal is acheived, the objective will further refine and extend to cover different epoch...and at the end of the day it becomes "boundless" ~ not limited to specific timing.
Those who are still giving excuses that "I only buy up to 19XX because I feel the older time shirts are not beautiful / I am not familar with those old days players" are merely excuses to avoid big money to be spent as well as the hard tears of efforts and time spent.
Looking at the worldwide levels, paramount collectors' collection are usually unbounded by epoch of shirts. |
