Rozehnal eager to join NewcastleCzech Republic defender David Rozehnal is keen for a move to Newcastle United, according to his representatives.
The 26-year-old's club Paris St Germain have yet to hold direct talks with the Magpies, having already rejected a £2.7m bid from Borussia Dortmund.
"David would love to play for Newcastle," Sport Invest spokesman Eliot Vantil told BBC Sport.
"He knows manager Sam Allardyce was also a centre-back and believes he can learn from him."
He added: "Allardyce was keen to sign David back in January for Bolton and I know he came to watch him play against Wales.
"David has played for one great club, PSG, but would love to come to the Premiership and play for another.
"PSG are holding out for the right offer for their player."
Rozehnal, who joined the French side from Club Brugge in 2005, played for the Czech Republic at Euro 2004 and at the 2006 World Cup.
He was PSG's player of the year last season and was selected in the French league's team of the year.

Newcastle have agreed in principle to sign Middlesbrough striker Mark Viduka.
The 31-year-old Australian has been offered an extended deal by Boro boss Gareth Southgate but has yet to give an answer to the Teessiders.
Newcastle say they have no comment to make about Viduka's possible switch from the Riverside to St James' Park.
Portsmouth and West Ham are also believed to be keen on Viduka and Birmingham have reportedly joined the chase to sign him as well.
Viduka is currently on a break before joining the Australia squad to play in the Asian Cup.
Talks are set to continue between the striker's camp and the Magpies later in the week with the ex-Celtic and Leeds player appearing certain to end his three-year spell at Boro.
Viduka was signed for the Riverside outfit in July 2004 by former Boro boss Steve McClaren in a £4.5m from Leeds.
He scored 19 goals last season as he played a major part in helping Southgate avoid relegation in his first season in charge.
A potential move to St James' Park would see him join new Newcastle boss Sam Allardyce's overhaul of the squad.
Allardyce took over the Magpies just two days after the end of the Premiership season and one of his main tasks in the striker department will be to persuade Michael Owen to stay.

早就應該炒啦 Big Sam closes on Duke and Tal
Newcastle manager Sam Allardyce has confirmed the club are close to signing Mark Viduka, whilst he also admits an interest in Tal Ben Haim.
The Middlesbrough striker is out-of-contract at The Riverside, but the Australian has shunned an offer to stay at Boro as well as other offers from Premiership and continental clubs.
Viduka is set to sign a three-year deal on Tyneside, to the delight of Allardyce.
"Mark is almost in the bag," Allardyce told the club's official website.
"It's been difficult because he has been on holiday, but we're nearly there.
"We hope to sort out a medical next week and then that will be done."
Allardyce also admitted that he was ready to make an offer to former charge Ben Haim - who is also out-of-contract at his ex-employers Bolton.
"Yes, I'm interested in Tal Ben Haim, he's a free agent and hopefully available," he said.
"He has got three or four years of experience in the Premiership and I know him inside out.
"We had a good working relationship, we grew in the Premiership together and I'm very interested in working with him again."
Allardyce is also looking forward to working with Joey Barton - whose arrival from Manchester City is expected to be confirmed shortly.
"The bottom line is I have got a great player," he said.
"The quality of the player is the most important thing. Sometimes they come with difficult characters and can be difficult to handle.
"But I have had players with worse reputations than Joey Barton's and I never found them to be a problem because of the way I communicate with them and the way they communicate with me.
"He came here because he wants to win things, and that is why I have come here. We have got the same ambitions. I am here to improve his career. He has my respect and he won't let me down.
"My side of the job is to temper the other difficulties he has run into in life, not so much on the field, but off the field. I have asked him, as a maturing young man in his mid-20s, to curb that side of his life and make sure he focuses on what he loves best.
"We want him to progress rapidly as a footballer at Newcastle and hopefully in the England set-up again because that's where he wants to be.
"He is good enough, but he has got to do a lot of work off the field to get back to that. I am confident I can handle him."
