The French midfielder admitted having contacts with Saint Etienne.
Mourad Meghni may still play in Serie A next season, as long as Bologna are allowed to go stay up if Genoa are sent back down to Serie B if found guilty of match-fixing.
The young player admitted that Saint Etienne are also after him, but playing Serie A football would keep him in Italy.
"Saint Etienne is an interesting club, however a lot depends from the Serie that Bologna will play in. For now it’s impossible, but if they’re sent back up I might stay. However, maybe, after 5 years I should really leave."
Meghni matured a lot in the past year and he believes this is due to more playing time.
"The difference was made by the fact that I was a regular. It’s not the same thing playing just 10 or 15 minutes." |
