Pompey Sign Vignal From Liverpool

Portsmouth have signed French utility player Gregory Vignal on a two-year contract from Liverpool.
The 23-year-old spent last season on loan with Rangers having only managed 14 appearances for Liverpool since joining them in 2000.

However, Pompey chairman Milan Mandaric said: "We’re pleased another quality signing is to join, who can be an asset in a number of positions."

Rangers had also hoped to land the player on a permanent basis.
