Anton Ferdinand has handed West Ham United a massive boost ahead of the new season by signing a three-year contract extension.
The 20-year-old, who is England star Rio's younger brother, made his Hammers' first-team debut against Preston back in 2003.
Ferdinand is naturally delighted to commit his future to the East London outfit and is now looking forward to life in England's top-flight.
"I'm really happy to have signed an extension to my contract and am looking forward to playing for the club in the Premier League this season," Ferdinand told the club's official website.
"Achieving promotion with West Ham last season was the greatest moment in my career so far and hopefully I can continue to play well this season and ensure that we stay in the Premier League.
"West Ham United is a fantastic club that deserves to be back in The Premiership and there is a fantastic atmosphere around the club at the moment."
