Cassano大平賣!!2.8m

李小龍

Real Madrid have valued Antonio Cassano at £2.8m, less than the
£3.5m spent in January to bring the striker to the Santiago Bernabeu.

The ex-Roma man seems close to definitely ending his adventure with the
Merengues, despite the player’s agent Giuseppe Bozzo reiterating that his
client was eager to remain in Spain.

Real Madrid’s former President Florentino Perez had signed Cassano in
January, when the Bari-born player moved from Roma in a £3.5m deal,
but the Spanish giants may now consider the idea of accepting a £2.8m
offer, according to the newspaper Marca.

The club is in fact ready to let the player leave following his latest
exclusion from the team, after he was caught on camera imitating Coach Fabio
Capello.

“Cassano is a good lad, but he sometimes acts without thinking,” said
sporting director Predrag Mijatovic to the Peridico de Catalunya.

“We only want players on our side who are committed to this outfit. If
someone does not understand this, we will have to look for another club that
can offer more than Real Madrid,” added the former Fiorentina striker.

“We make the contracts and we respect them, and we ask our players to give
their all on the pitch,” concluded Mijatovic.

The only Italian side who has shown an interest in Cassano’s services is
Milan, although the Rossoneri do not seem keen on confirming the player’s
£2.8m per-season deal. The striker, however, may agree to a lower wage
in order to leave Spain, as there do not seem to be any margins to repair
the rift with the club’s management.

According to Spanish sources, the Real Madrid player is just a step away from joining the Rossoneri on loan till the end of the season, with an option to buy him at 4.5 million Euros.

If the latest news coming from Spain is true, Antonio Cassano's adventure in Madrid is coming to an end as the former Roma forward is set to join Milan in the upcoming days.

The only obstacle to the operation might be the situation of Kaka, where the Spanish giants want to buy the Brazilian midfielder in summer, whereas the Rossoneri have no intention of letting their ace player leave.

Still, this minor detail should not stop Milan from acquiring Cassano as Real Madrid have had enough with his antics and want to sell him at all costs, even if it means making a net loss.

The fee is in fact that of just 4.5 million Euros, much inferior to the one the Merengues paid to lure him away from Roma last season. More will be revealed in the coming days so stay tuned to learn more about this story as it unfolds.

Juventus winger Mauro Camoranesi could be set to join Inter in June according to the latest reports in Italy.

The world champion is currently contracted to the Bianconeri outfit until 2009 but had already attracted the interest of the Nerazzurri in the summer, when he had expressed his doubts about playing in Serie B, before Juventus blocked his departure.

La Gazzetta dello Sport now suggests that Inter are ready to make a new offer for the Argentine-born midfielder, who has proved to be a key player for Didier Deschamps so far, as the Juve management could let him leave Turin at the end of the season.

Furthermore, the Nerazzurri are looking to replace Luis Figo, whose contract expires in June 2007 and is reportedly set for a January exit, with the Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad his alleged destination.

Inter, who have not ruled out the idea of signing Gianluigi Buffon as well, could also include Walter Samuel in the deal, as the former Roma man has not been given much playing time so far this term and has made no secret of the fact that he would favour a transfer to another club.

No financial details have been revealed, as it seems that Inter might try to make a joint offer for both Camoranesi and Buffon, a move that would certainly be postponed until June.

The Bianconeri are set to purchase three important players in summer to strengthen the side ahead of their return to Serie A football.

Juventus will not be involved in too many transfer during the January market, however they will be very active once summer arrives. According to speculation from Italy, the Old Lady is set to buy three different players for three different roles.

In defence, the Bianconeri have targetted Benfica's Luisao who will be exchanged for Fabrizio Miccoli. If this deal does not go through, Juventus will go for Palermo's Andrea Barzagli.

In midfield, the main (and probably only) candidate is West Ham's Mascherano who has been linked to the Italian giants for the past months. He's the player that Deschamps wants to build his midfield around.

In attack the choice is vast and one between Klose, Iaquinta and Huntelaar will almost surely wear the black and white stripes next season.

These are all news which will surely please the fans and also help the established players like Buffon and Camoranesi choose to remain in Turin next season.

According to the latest transfer rumours, the Argentinean midfielder is set to join the Bianconeri in January.

Javier Mascherano to Juventus is a matter of days if the speculations surrounding the West Ham player are to be believed. What seemed like a deal which would go through in summer could actually become reality in the upcoming weeks as the transfer market re-opens in January.

The 22-year-old has found it difficult to acclimate himself to the fast-paced English football, like many other Argentinean players before him, therefore Mascherano could fit in perfectly into the more tactical Serie A football.

Didier Deschamps always held the young Argentinean midfielder in high esteem and has made it no secret that he wants to have him in Turin.

The Juventus directors are expected in London within the next 48 hours to seal the deal with an offer of 6 million Sterling.

If the deal does go through, then the Bianconeri will have to offload some youth players, including Marchionni who did not find too much space in the first eleven this season.
