Newcastle United have emerged as the front-runners in the race to sign Inter starlet Marco Andreolli on loan, according to the defender’s agent. “The situation is complex,” explained Patrick Bastianelli. “The boy has offers from abroad, in particular from Newcastle and Marseille, while in Italy there is strong interest from Torino. However, Newcastle remain favourites to sign my client.” The Italy Under-21 star is contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2011 and is widely regarded as a hot prospect for the future at the San Siro. |
