Seedorf pens new Milan contract
Milan have announced that Clarence Seedorf has extended his contract until June 30, 2011.
The Dutchman has put pen to paper on a deal that will keep him at the San Siro for another four years.
By the time the new agreement expires, he will already have turned 35 years of age and been at the club for nine seasons.
Seedorf joined the Rossoneri from archrivals Inter in 2002, having previously worn the jerseys of Ajax, Sampdoria and Real Madrid.
The Netherlands international made history as the first player to win the Champions League for three different clubs and with Milan has also celebrated a Scudetto, European Super Cup, Coppa Italia and Italian Super Cup.
Meanwhile, his latest new teammate Massimo Oddo has said his goodbyes at Lazio’s Formello training ground.
Late last night the two clubs finally reached an agreement for £5.5m plus Pasquale Foggia to bring the right-back up north.
It’s reported that this evening or tomorrow morning he will sign a four-year contract with Milan. |
