Wenger ready to let Flamini leave  

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has admitted he may be prepared to allow unsettled midfield man Mathieu Flamini leave the club in the close season.
The 23-year-old has revealed he is considering his options because of a lack of first-team opportunities.

And Wenger told Arsenal TV Online: "We have heard about Flamini, who is keen to go and play somewhere where he will get some more games.

"I'll regret it but I feel at the moment we have to be understanding."

Manchester City midfielder Dietmar Hamann is doubtful (ankle) and so Ousmane Dabo could step in.

England defender Micah Richards is also likely to be sidelined again with an ankle problem but Stephen Ireland should recover from a virus in time.

Charlton defender Ben Thatcher is set to return from a knee injury.

That would see Hermann Hreidarsson revert to a central role alongside Souleymane Diawara, with Talal El Karkouri most likely to make way.
