Colombia and Chile won convincingly against weak opposition in warm-up matches for this winter's Copa America.

Colombia coach Jorge Luis Pinto fielded an inexperienced side but was suitably impressed as his youngsters ran out 4-0 victors against Panama in Panama City.

The goals came from Humberto Mendoza, Cesar Valoyes, Hugo Rodallega and Yulian Anchico.

"The whole team played well and the balance was very positive," Pinto said. "The team always attacked and that is the mentality that I want."

In Osorno, Roberto Gutierrez, Jose Rojas and Luis Flores all got on the scoresheet as Chile prevailed 3-0 over Cuba.

The Copa America kicks off in Venezuela on June 26.

Colombia, who won the event in 2001, has been drawn in Group C alongside Argentina, the USA and Paraguay while Chile go up against Brazil, Mexico and Ecuador in Group B.
