Dear Class:
Regarding the test on Monday, it is an open-book open-note test. You can
bring in anything you like (calculators and computers included, but you
really do not need them). Many questions are similar to homework problems.
Please note that all answers must be accompanied by step-by-step
explanations. Without them, your answers will not count.

It should be "palm computer", not "computer" in my email. We do not allow
lap tops not becuase they offer some advantages, but becuase we do not
have space in the class room.
Again, I can assure you that lap tops will NOT offer any advantages for
this test.

Dear Class:
Someone just mentioned to me that PDAs or palm computers can send data to
each other through their wireless channel. So we will not allow lap tops
nor PDAs in the test tomorow.
Again, you do not need them for tomorrw's test.
