MILAN - F.C. Internazionale have received a fax from Chelsea stating that Argentine striker Hernan Crespo is free to remain with the Nerazzurri for the second season of his two-year loan deal.

MILAN - Hernan Crespo, currently in Switzerland with the Argentine national team ahead of Saturday's international friendly in Basel, told inter.it of his satisfaction with the agreement reached between Inter and Chelsea.
"I am very happy. Staying at Inter was what I wanted," said Crespo, who will remain with the Nerazzurri for the second year of his loan deal.
"I would like to thank Chelsea first of all for their help, and Inter for confirming their faith in me."
