　　新浪體育訊　利物浦決定出售貝拉米，但威爾士人的前隊友、紐卡斯爾傳奇前鋒阿蘭-希勒卻提出警告，任何簽下貝拉米的球隊都會迎來一場災難。

　　希勒之所以這樣說，是因為他的老東家紐卡斯爾也表露了對重簽貝拉米的興趣，這讓希勒感到擔心，他認為，貝拉米雖然有一定的能力，但卻是一個給球隊帶來麻煩的傢伙。

　　希勒說：「我聽說紐卡斯爾有可能簽下貝拉米，聽到這個消息時我懷疑自己是不是喝醉了，我希望這不會成為現實。」

　　「過去不少球隊簽入過貝拉米，難道就沒有人得到任何教訓嗎？當時
利物浦買他時，如果貝尼特斯打電話問我，我會直接告訴他這是個什麼樣的傢伙！」

　　27歲的貝拉米在紐卡斯爾曾度過4年時光，當時和希勒還是隊友，顯然希勒對貝拉米沒有好感。在他效力過的球隊，無論是紐卡斯爾、凱爾特人還是利物浦，這個威爾士壞小子都鬧出過和隊友、教練打鬥的醜聞。

　　希勒說：「我和斯皮德、哈珀在法國度假，翻看一張報紙，卻發現貝拉米可能去紐卡斯爾，我當時想，大概自己喝醉了，眼睛花了。」

　　「這太好笑了，特別是特裡-麥克德莫特(紐卡助教)仍然在紐卡斯爾俱樂部，兩人在安菲爾德的通道里曾打過架，現在又要開始合作了？」

Martins was unhurt in the attack.
Newcastle United striker Obafemi Martins has revealed that he survived a shooting in Lagos when masked gunmen sprayed his car with bullets.
The Nigerian international was at a petrol station close to his apartment in the city on Monday night when the attack occurred. He escaped unhurt, but his friend Remi Onipede was hospitalised after being hit in the hand and shoulder, before police arrived.
"They shot indiscriminately and tried to kill all the occupants of the car. They weren't there to rob me but to finish me off," Martins told the Sun. "I thought I was going to die. They executed it like professional hired assassins. It was hell. I was dead in my heart and soul. It all happened like something in the movies.

紐卡素的前鋒馬田斯在本週一的晚上遭到了3名槍手的襲擊，當時他在位於尼日利亞的拉格斯市的自己公寓旁邊的一處加油站加油，結果3名持槍歹徒向他開槍。馬田斯的坐駕梅賽德斯(賓士系列)被打了好幾個彈孔，襲擊中馬田斯的一名同伴受傷，所幸馬田斯毫髮無損。據馬田斯本人推測，此事可能和他缺席國家隊比賽有關。
“他們只管往車子裏掃射，看來是想要殺掉車裏面所有的人。他們並不是想搶劫，很明顯他們是要殺了我。”馬田斯說：“當時我想我一定死定了，他們就像是一群職業殺手在執行任務。”“他們什麼也沒有和我說，只管朝車裏開槍，這簡直就是地獄。我感覺自己的心臟已經不跳了，靈魂也出了殼了，那種場面就像是電影中的一樣。”馬田斯透露：“我不知道他們的使命是什麼，也不知道他們是受誰指使的，但是他們的確非常的兇悍和卑鄙。當我看到槍的時候渾身發毛，我的神經都沒有反應了。”
看到那些人拔出槍後，馬田斯立馬調轉車頭準備逃跑，但是由於當時有其他車子擋住，他沒有及時逃脫，那些殺手的子彈打穿了擋風玻璃還有車窗。馬田斯的一個叫Remi Onipede的同伴手和肩膀都受了傷，不過馬田斯本人安然無恙。隨後員警迅速趕來，不過這些殺手已經逃離。
這些人也不像是來搶車的，馬田斯相信他們的動機是謀殺，因為馬田斯上次缺席了尼日利亞國家隊的集訓，直接導致了尼日利亞國家隊在非洲杯預選賽中客場1-2不敵烏幹達隊，馬田斯認為可能是有人為此而報復。
“如果那些武裝的強盜想要攻擊你的話，他們一定會事先威脅你或者告訴你他們想要幹什麼，但是這群槍手竟然什麼也不說，他們只想要我的命。”馬田斯說：“我是怎麼逃脫的我現在都想不起來了，這實在是太難以置信了。”
“也許有人別我想像的還要想讓我死，只有他們才能解釋發生的這一切。”馬田斯說：“我的母親一直擔心這些人還會回來。當她看我的汽車那個樣子之後都要瘋了，一直問我到底是誰想置我於死地，可是我自己也不知道。”
“我在拉格斯不再感覺到安全，我想不應該這麼快的回來。”馬田斯說：“我出生在拉格斯，我是地道的拉格斯人，但是當我在自己的家鄉感覺不到安全的話，這其中一定有很多問題。”“我不怕遇到搶劫的，但是如果誰想要我奧巴·馬田斯的命的話，請他站出來說話。為國效力是一件偉大的事情，但是大家的臉上應該掛著微笑，我的家庭和球迷之間都應該有安全感才對。但是當情況不可收拾的時候，我就不可能再有回家的打算了。”馬田斯說。
馬田斯受傷的同伴Remi Onipede目前正躺在醫院裏，他在接受《太陽報》採訪時慶倖自己也大難未死。
“我非常感謝上帝，如果沒有他的厚待我現在已經是一個死人了，我已經經過了X光檢查，醫生說我會很快好起來的。”Onipede說：“那些槍手實在太殘忍了，他們瞄準了我們只管開槍。”
馬田斯的母親Alhaja也對記者說：“我的兒子是家裏唯一養家糊口的人，但是某些壞蛋卻想讓他死。你們告訴我他為什麼要留在這裏？我告訴他你趕快回歐洲去，我也會隨後跟他團聚的，只要我想他我肯定會和他在一起。那些殺手可能還會回來，我的兒子如果還留在拉格斯實在是太笨了。”

NEWCASTLE have won the race to sign Manchester United outcast Alan Smith in a deal worth around £3.5million.

Toon boss Sam Allardyce made his move for Smith after the England striker made public his dismay at not being offered a new deal by United.

But Allardyce failed in his bid to make it a United trio at Newcastle after the Old Trafford hierarchy rebuffed his attempts to sign defensive duo Wes Brown and Mikael Silvestre.

Smith revealed his desire to stay at Old Trafford only last week but admitted he had received no assurances about his future from Sir Alex Ferguson, a revelation which sparked a scramble for his signature.

Despite his reluctance to leave United following a £7million move from Leeds in 2004, Smith has been assured of regular football at Newcastle under Allardyce, something Fergie could not give him at Old Trafford.

And Smith is said to be relishing the challenge to prove he can get back to the level he was at before breaking a leg at Liverpool in February 2006, which ruled him out for seven months.

A host of Premiership clubs including Tottenham and Aston Villa made clear their interest in signing Smith but Newcastle have won the race.

Sam's pledge on misfit Luq
Albert Luque has lost his No 7 shirt to new boy Joey Barton at Newcastle United.
However, the Spanish misfit could yet save his career at St James' Park - thanks to the Sam Allardyce approach.
Barton is keen to wear the United No 7 shirt worn with such distinction by Toon heroes Kevin Keegan and Robert Lee in recent seasons.
Allardyce has agreed to this request, but he insists he has not given up on Luque, who has only made six Premiership starts in his two seasons with United and scored that one League goal - at Sunderland.
Luque still has two years left on his contract at £40,000-a-week, but has turned down chances to move away from Tyneside - and he is still a United player.
Big Sam is clearly thinking of Luque - and some other United misfits - when he says: "I feel far too many players have got lost at this football club.
"It is my responsibility to make sure this does not happen to any current member of the staff or any new player I might bring in.
"One of the reasons I was successful at Bolton Wanderers was transforming a foreign player out of whatever country he had come from into a Premiership player.
"That's because we found out what problems he had as early as we possibly could.
"I don't want to be too critical of what has happened here in the past but in my opinion there has not been enough focus on what is happening in a player's life away from the training ground and the club.
"Has he got the right lifestyle? Is he living in the right place for him and his family?
"In fact it's not just the player but his wife and family.
"But once this is sorted out you get the best out of player and this is something I have to try and work out with Albert Luque.
"He might be too far gone. Who knows? But we might still be able to resurrect his career here. We will see."
