Season 2 will end on Saturday September 8th 2007. We have seen many achievements this season. 150,000 users being the big one cannot explain how it feels to have that many people enjoying our game. We also made it to a top 9K site as far as traffic goes. Talkdep is growing by leaps and bound too and broke the 5500 member mark and the 100K posts mark.

We saw a country Emerge to challenge the US/Lithuania lock on talent. China will be a force to reckon with in season 3. We saw Spain over take the US as far as users go, just shortly after the US over took Lithuania for that spot at the beginning of the season. Who will be first for users next season? Hard to say, we will have to wait and see.

We have increased the total countries to 48 that mean there are 240 leagues and 5760 teams. This means much room for growth in the game. We do plan to add more countries in the off season and should have that done in the coming days.

The game has been translated into 15 languages, and the final touches will be put on that by the start of the next season. This means that the game will be understood by millions, and not just those of us that can read and understand English. It is a big accomplishment and one that we would not have hope of getting started so soon, without the help of all our wonderful members. Thank you to those that worked so hard to get the game translated to their native tongue. We do have more languages to get in and will with the beginning of the new season.

The new season (season 3) starts tentatively on Monday September 10th we have a few things to get done before then so we will be working 15 hr days if needed to meet that goal.

The 1 player per season refers to the fact that 1 player will be able to be singed by the same teams only once a season.

We are still a bit torn, between that or 30 days. This will fix allot of cheating and the new all thru the day games played.

For example:

Denver Slugs buys Alexey Sio on day 3 season 3, Denver Slugs sells Alexey Sio on day 12 season 3 and then Denver Slugs wants Alexey Sio back on day 40, it will not be possible.

Again we are torn between 30 days and hte whole season.

Reason:

1) Games will be played all thru the day and we dont want people playing 100 games in 1 day.

2) People that cheat sell and buy their player.

3) Avoid incestous affairs like, Jimmy loans Johns TJ McDowel for the semifinal against Poor Guy Who Doesn't Know What is Coming To Him.

We have uploaded the new languages on the old sever and they look pretty good, we are testing it for the reminder of the day and they will be uploaded on the high load sever by the end of the season (which is in 24 hours- hahaha).

We will add 1 or 2 more leagues too all countries so we increase the size without adding low traffic countries.

All the new features we talked about will start appearing once all games are being ran all thru the day and languages will be online. I am hoping and aiming for 72 hours for this two. Might be delayed since i always overestimate but we are really struggling to reach this deadline.

Season 4 should contain the first world cup for countries and should change the entire league tree (meaning we will switch form our linear style to a pyramidal style -hattrick or charazay-).

Advantages:

1) More Teams to the high traffic countries (Spain, US, Lithuania, China, Australia etc).

2) That's it.
