The crowd of 40405 turning up at Giant Bear FC Arena today were greeted with some nasty showers of rain. Giant had chosen a strategic 4-5-1 formation. Starters: bin Burhan - Svensson, Gonnord, Verbelen, Yong Jun - Hansen, Melvan, Oliveira, Li Seng, Hartblad - Marjamäki.

Architectz started off with a 4-5-1 lineup. They fielded: Fernández - Fredriksen, Devic, Lizhou, Bonnans - Boon Yew, Cho, Vehkalahti, Han Bo, Jin Hien - Lieverse.

Architectz immediately set off using their skill at pressing their opponents.

Some great play up the middle by Giant led to a chance for Guang Yong Jun to get the go-ahead goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the crossbar.

Giant dictated play, as they maintained 53 percent of possession.
