Lazio forward Goran Pandev has revealed he will honour his contract, which ends in 2010, despite interest from Tottenham Hotspur.

The 24-year-old enjoyed his most prolific campaign this year, scoring 14 goals in 32 appearances with the Biancocelesti.

The Macedonian has been linked with German champions Bayern Munich and is being touted as a replacement for Dimitar Berbatov at Tottenham should the Bulgarian leave.

“It is true, Tottenham want me,” admitted Pandev. “But I intend to stay at Lazio.

“President Claudio Lotito decided that he will not listen to any more offers for me, therefore it is my intention to honour my current deal.”

Pandev did not, however, rule out a move away from Rome after the expiration of his contract in two years time.

Speaking to Vest, a Macedonian newspaper, Pandev said: “Only then will I begin to contemplate other offers.”

Lazio disappointed this season, finishing twelfth - nine places and 16 points worse off than last year.

Gianluca Zambrotta is officially an AC Milan player; it seems that the italian club has paid to Barcelona 8,5 million Euros, while the player should have signed a three year deal at 4 million Euros per season.
