It seems that last night Boca Juniors chairman Pompilio and 26 year old striker Rodrigo Palacio have met to talk about the player\'s transfer to Lazio; today there should be the final decision.

The Biancocelesti are keen on the Argentine midfielder and Claudio Lotito recently revealed his penchant for the player who has been in stunning form for Boca.

Lazio are currently in the process of a summer shake up where the side will undergo some major changes.

Palacio is their number one target and now a move seems on the cards after the player revealed he is waiting for Lotito to come in for him.

“There are no problems, I am ready to say yes to Lazio and I am waiting for Lotito's offer,” Palacio told Corriere Dello Sport.

Reports in Italy claim that Boca have already accepted a €14m bid for the player and all that is needed is an agreement between the parties involved.

Lazio have started to manouvre in the transfer market and they are willing to sell Valon Behrami and Luciano Zauri in order to try and claw back some of the cash which they will be investing in Palacio as well as other new arrivals at the Stadio Olimpico.

Lazio chairman Claudio Lotito has pormised that he intends to relaunch the club on Italian but also on European level. Nevertheless, he did not give any new details about the negotiations for Moti, defender of Dinamo Bucarest, and Boca Junior's forward Palacio, saying just that both Argentine and Romanian players have demonstrated that they can adapt themselves easily in the calcio.
