Inter coach, Jose Mourinho, has revealed that he is not bothered about the Serie A fixture list after the games for the coming season were announced on Friday afternoon. The former Chelsea tactician seems unfazed by all the hype surounding the new campaign.
The Nerazzurri kick off the campaign with an away fixture against Walter Novellino's Sampdoria with the Milan derby on September 28 before the much anticipated Derby d'Italia in November.
The 'Special One' insists that the order of the games makes no difference at all to the way he will prepare his team for their new adventure as they attempt to defend their Scudetto crown as well as challenge for the Champions League.
“I've never really regarded the draw for the fixtures as important as we have to play everyone anyway and the fixture list has never meant anything for me,” Mourinho told Il Corriere Dello Sport.
“The list will not change the way I will be working with the team as we will be working differently to the rest of our rivals within the first few weeks.”
The Nerazzurri will continue their pre-season preparations on Saturday morning before heading back to Milan. Adriano, Materazzi, Stankovic and Maicon are all likely to sit out of the final session as they are all suffering from various knocks and strains.
Silvano Raggio (Italy)
Italy realised what they had been missing when Raggio changed the game against England as a half-time substitute. Suspended for the opening match, the anchorman denied space to England's midfield runners. The 19-year-old from Genoa CFC also got forward to measure the perfect pass for the semi-final winner against Hungary.
