Wilshere named in Arsenal's first-team squad

Jack Wilshere has been named in Arsenal's first-team squad for the 2008/09 season.

The talented 16-year-old has played a major role during pre-season, impressing Arsène Wenger at the Club's training camp in Austria and featuring in both of Arsenal's games at the Emirates Cup.

Wilshere started against Juventus on Saturday and went close with a volley in the first half. He came off the bench against Real Madrid on Sunday and caused problems for one of Europe's most experienced right backs, the Spaniard Michel Salgado.

Wilshere wore the No 55 shirt against La Liga's champions but will take the No 19 shirt in the forthcoming campaign. That number was vacated by Gilberto when the Brazilian left for Panathinaikos last month.

Wilshere joined Arsenal as a nine year-old in October 2001. Last season he scored 13 times in 19 Under-18 league outings and also netted twice from two reserve team starts, all while still a schoolboy.

打左邊對佢自己係國家隊定阿仙奴應該都係比較有利佢上位既位置....
至於話佢成日入中路...雲加一向d翼都會cut埋去中間架啦....
基本上都唔會有齋係邊線活動既翼....

暫時黎睇佢踢右邊搶過左邊, 某程度上可能好過用walcott

Walcott總係要調教下佢既decision, crossing同passing...
好多時都係做錯決定, 相比起Wilshere佢直頭無地自容lor...
不過當Rosicky在陣, 但short pass破唔到密集, 可以試下放佢replace Rosicky同Walcott玩swap左右
佢再練下strength同balance, also識得收放, 避腳的話, 佢條路比Walcott更遠
因為佢有天生既decision同determination, 當然都係再睇睇先
