Dark skies made the crowd of 57001 at 香港膠登討論區 a little nervous, but the rain held off. HKGolden started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Kanclerz - Ulstrup, Alves, Pasulko - Skála, Hok Chuen, Vanslembrouck, Patinios, Diepenbrock - D'haeseleire, Çekimli.
Architectz tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. Lineup: Fernández - Iacob, Petculescu, Chico de Guzmán - Pumalaynen, Holtzman, Han Bo, Vehkalahti, Luukko - Palopelto, Karabasma.
Architectz decided to play creatively. HKGolden took the lead in the 5:th minute of the game by 1 to 0, as Edgar D'haeseleire elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. After 11 minutes, Eulalio Chico de Guzmán sent the corner kick right to Tuomo Luukko who headed it sharply past the keeper. 1-1! HKGolden were very close to putting themselves one up in the 16:th minute as Radoslav Skála got through on the left, but failing in concentration, he shot the ball wide. HKGolden took the lead in the 24:th minute of the game by 2 to 1, as Joffrey Vanslembrouck elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. After 26 minutes, Joffrey Vanslembrouck put HKGolden ahead 3 - 1 when he rose to head in a hooked ball, the result of an effort from the right side. HKGolden made it 4-1 as Radoslav Skála knocked the corner kick to Jens Ulstrup who whipped a low drive in off the far post. HKGolden solidified their lead at the 31 minute mark, as Edgar D'haeseleire manoeuvered the ball through the opposing central defence and finished for 5 - 1. After this, HKGolden lowered the tempo in order to concentrate on their defensive efforts. Cornel Petculescu of Architectz received a yellow card in the 36:th minute for unsportsmanlike behaviour. 5 - 1 was the score after the first half. HKGolden held the ball, with a clear 51 percent of possession.
Marios Patinios was ever so close to scoring after an excellent corner was perfectly redirected by Radoslav Skála, but the ball went into the frame. HKGolden put themselves up 6 - 1 when Jens Ulstrup broke through on the right, leaving the entire defensive box behind him. One of many good passes from Radoslav Skála at the wing was received and skillfully taken care of by Edgar D'haeseleire, scoring the 7 - 1 goal for HKGolden. That made three goals for Edgar D'haeseleire and he was marked down for the hat trick. HKGolden's Damian Diepenbrock struck his penalty well enough to beat the goalkeeper and extend the home team's lead to 8 - 1 after 87 minutes. Radoslav Skála had a fantastic opportunity to put HKGolden up another goal in the 89:th minute, but he fired just over the crossbar. HKGolden enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 52 percent of possession.
Bruno Alves performed admirably for HKGolden. Klim Pasulko was a disappointment, however. Sha Han Bo performed admirably for Architectz. Rodrigo Fernández was a disappointment, however. The match ends 8 - 1.
