Over the past few days i have been holidaying an unemployed manager through to the year 2029. (Avalible Leagues, Eng, Ita, Spa)
Now we can all agree that Football Manager 2009 is an immense game, but many more may agree that after a while it becomes repetative. You start a new game, City sign Vagner Love, Gareth Barry, Srna and so on. Then because you know who all the good youngsters are you sign all of them. So you have become as predictable as Manchester City.
This game provides something different, a chance to start 20 years later, in an all new surrounding. For example, England have won back to back World Cups, Manchester United spend their days playing football in the Coca Cola Championship, and the most recent winners of the Premier League were Sunderland.
Few players from the original game, Aaron Ramsey walking about on a zimmerframe. Even Sakho is a manager now. Speaking of who is a Manager.... Steven Gerrard Manages Aston Villa.
