Official: Maxwell has Barca deal

Barcelona announced they have an agreement to sign Inter full-back Maxwell for £3m.
"FC Barcelona and Inter Milan have reached the beginning of an agreement for the transfer of the Brazilian Scherrer Cabelino Maxwell Andrade “Maxwell” for a fee of 4.5m Euros with an additional 0.5m Euros in variable payments."
Jose Mourinho stated this week that his squad was far too big and needed to be cut down before the start of the season.
Maxwell was the first-choice left-back, but was pushed on to the bench by the emergence of 18-year-old wunderkind Davide Santon.
Now Inter have struck a deal with Barcelona for the 28-year-old Brazilian for £3m, as confirmed on the Blaugrana's official website.
Maxwell has one year left on his contract with the Nerazzurri, but will reportedly pen a new five-year deal worth £3.4m per season.
