Former Inter rebel Adriano has received a dressing down from Flamengo Coach Cuca after skipping training again.
The striker was well known for failing to turn up to sessions or arriving late and it seems the move to Brazil has not changed his attitude.
“I will no longer accept behaviour like this,” slammed Cuca in newspaper O’Globo.
“Whoever turns up late or misses training entirely simply won’t play in my team any more. I don’t care if it’s Adriano or anyone else.”
L’Imperatore infuriated Flamengo this week when he was caught by photographers on a beach during a skipped training session.
“Unlike Ronaldo or Romario, who are both extremely technical forwards, Adriano is a player of brute strength,” added Cuca.
“He needs to be in perfect physical condition to give his best. He needs to train and work harder than anyone else.”
