Seal Dribble借去Ajax

Inter have allowed their Brazilian youngster Kerlon to leave the club for a loan spell at Dutch outfit Ajax.

Kerlon, who became famous for his entertaining but mostly futile trick of running while bouncing the ball on his head like a seal, has joined the Amsterdam club on a year long loan.

The young midfielder was signed by the Nerazzurri on a four-year deal last summer, from Brazilian side Cruzeiro, but was immediately loaned to Chievo.

His time in Verona was plagued by injury and he managed just four appearances before returning to San Siro in the summer.

The 21-year-old was unlikely to feature in Jose Mourinho's first team plans and after his stint at Chievo proved fruitless it was decided that a spell in new surroundings may help his career in Europe flourish.

Zdravko Kuzmanovic has departed Fiorentina, with German outfit VfB Stuttgart signing him on a four-year contract.

But as one player departs the Artemio Franchi another arrives as a busy day of negotiations with West Ham United finally saw striker Savio Nsereko arrive in Florence.

The Viola had initially approached the Hammers regarding a £9m move for defender Matthew Upson, but that enquiry fell on deaf ears.

However, in the process of the negotiations they managed to snare highly-rated German youngster Nsereko.

The Ugandan-born attacker was a hit in Serie B with Brescia before being lured to Upton Park. However, he only ever managed one appearance for West Ham.

As part of the deal Fiorentina sent Portuguese defender Manuel Da Costa in the opposite direction. The 23-year-old never settled following his move from PSV Eindhoven and Cesare Prandelli will feel he got the better end of the deal.

Kuzmanovic, a 21-year-old Serb, had made a decent name for himself in Serie A, but his performances waned last term - although that did not worry Stuttgart Coach Markus Babbel.

"Despite his young age, he already shows substantial international experience and so he will integrate himself quickly into our team," explained the former German international.

West Ham swap Savio for Fiorentina's Da Costa

West Ham United have signed Portuguese defender Manuel Da Costa from Fiorentina and sent attacking-midfielder Savio Nsereko in the opposite direction.

Former Nancy and PSV centre-back Da Costa failed to establish himself in Italy's Serie A, despite a loan spell at Sampdoria, and the 23-year-old is now hoping to impress Hammers boss Gianfranco Zola.

Savio moved to the Premier League in a £9m deal during the January transfer window from Serie B side Brescia. The Germany Under-21 international is tipped to be a star but had trouble settling in England.

The Hammers will retain 50% of Savio's sell-on value and West Ham chief executive Scott Duxbury said: "This is a good deal for everyone concerned."

He added: "Although not for the want of trying, Savio has struggled to make an impact for various reasons, while Manuel is also looking for a fresh start. Had our financial situation been different we would have preferred to have kept and developed Savio.

"We will continue to look at home and across Europe for the brightest prospects as they best fit our vision for this club's future. However, we are required to make savings and our policy has always been to sell players on the fringes rather than established first-team players.

"With the fee we received for Savio and 50% sell-on together with acquiring the highly-rated Da Costa, it represented a great deal.''

Fiorentina, who have also sold Serbian midfielder Zdravko Kuzmanovic to Stuttgart for £5m, have added teenage Boca Juniors defender Ezequiel Munoz for £7m. The 19-year-old will be out for two months due to injury.

The Italy Under 21 international has opted to leave Sampdoria for a new challenge at Cagliari.

Dessena is delighted to be making the move to Cagliari after attracting interest from other clubs.

"I'm delighted to sign for Cagliari and I am just glad this whole saga is finally over," said Dessena.

"I spoke to several friends - people like Francesco Pisano, Robert Acquafresca, and Gianfranco Zola - and they all said that Cagliari was the ideal place for me. I feel honoured to wear the Rossoblu shirt."
