bundesliga.de brings you the latest wheelings and dealings of the transfer market during the winter break...
SC Freiburg have signed attacking midfielder Hamed Namouchi from FC Lorient until the end of the season. The Tunisian international has made 17 appearances for his country, including appearances in each of his nation's three World Cup matches at Germany 2006.
The club have also allowed Alain Junior Ollé Ollé to join 2. Bundesliga club Rot Weiss Ahlen on loan in order to gain first-team experience.
Hertha BSC Berlin have made their third acquisition of the winter in the form of Czech international defender Roman Hubnik. The central defender joins on loan from Russian club FC Moscow having previously spent time at Czech giants Sparta Prague.
Norwegian international Tore Reginiussen has joined Schalke 04 from Tromsö IL. The big defender can also be deployed in defensive midfield and has made eight appearances at international level, scoring one goal.
Borussia Mönchengladbach have released defender Steve Gohouri from his contract at the club. He was dismissed from the first team ahead of the 2009/10 campaign and last appeared for the club in April.
Werder Bremen have signed youngster Pascal Testroet as a pro as a result of his goalscoring antics in the reserves. The 19-year-old striker has notched an impressive eight goals in the 3. Liga for Werder II thus far.
Meanwhile, 1. FC Köln have sadly agreed to release assistant manager Ümit Özat from his contract at his own request. The Turkish coach regrettably has to move back to his homeland to care for his sick father in law.
