Internacional Star Andres D'Alessandro Wants Europe Return

Andres D'Alessandro is hoping that his impressive form for Internacional will help him earn a lucrative return to European football, according to his agency.
The former Real Zaragoza and Portsmouth playmaker has attempted to rid himself of the 'bad-boy' tag that has seen him punished at several clubs in his career.
Despite being involved in a fracas in Brazil with Internacional, the 28-year-old has helped the team win the Copa Sudamericana and the Campeonato Gaucho.
"We are looking for a club in Europe," a spokesman for his agency, Europe Sports, told reporters.
"But for now, no team has made a concrete offer. Internacional want €5 million, but if a team gives us a formal proposal for a lower amount, the leaders will agree to negotiate.
"For Andres, the goal is to get a good contract. He has no favoured championship. Germany, Spain, Italy and Portugal hold the same interest."
D'Alessandro left River Plate in 2003 to join Wolfsburg. After a loan spell with Portsmouth, he made a temporary stay with Real Zaragoza permanent.
His indiscipline then saw him frozen out at La Romareda after a spat with coach Victor Fernandez, before he moved to San Lorenzo and then on to Internacional last year.
