The Argentine is looking forward to the decisive arbitration hearing…
Lazio midfielder Cristian Ledesma arrived in Milan last night to attend the Lega Calcio’s Arbitration Panel hearing which will decide his future later today.
The 27-year-old initiated proceedings back in November to have his contract with the Aquile rescinded after being frozen out of the squad at the start of the season after refusing the terms of a new deal.
“I am calm and serene,” he told Sky Sport 24. “We’ll see how it goes. I hope that everything will turn out for the best so that I will not endure such a treatment ever again.
“I have suffered a lot and I truly didn’t expect it.”
The Arbitration Panel has already passed judgment on a similar case last month when Ledesma’s former Lazio team-mate Goran Pandev was granted a unilateral contract rescission and joined Inter on a free transfer.
And Ledesma is widely expected to follow suit and make San Siro his new home if he manages to sever his ties with Lazio.
