Parma Ready To Bring West Ham Playmaker Luis Jimenez Back To Serie A
Jimenez could be back in Serie A earlier than expected...
According to fresh reports in Italy, Parma are interested in Luis Jimenez and are hoping to lure the midfielder back to Italy.
The Inter-owned playmaker is currently on loan at West Ham and is scheduled to stay in London until the end of the season, however, with first-team opportunities limited at Upton Park, the 25-year-old is said to be ready to return to Italy.
Jimenez has made just eleven league appearances for the Hammers so far this season, many coming off the bench and is thought to be open to a return to Italy in order to boost his chances of playing a role in Chile’s World Cup campaign this summer.
According to Italian daily La Repubblica, The Ducali are ready to offer the Chilean first team football and hope he will leave London to spend the second half of the season on-loan in Parma.
Jimenez failed to force himself into Marcelo Bielsa’s Chile squad during qualification and is said to be ready to do whatever it takes to be on the plane to South Africa this summer.

Official: AC Milan Midfielder Davide Di Gennaro Joins Livorno On Loan

AC Milan midfielder Davide Di Gennaro has joined fellow Serie A club Livorno on loan until the end of the season.
“A.C. Milan announces that they have assigned, on a temporary basis, the player Davide Di Gennaro to AS Livorno Calcio until June 30, 2010,” a statement on the club's official website read.
The 21-year-old had found first-team opportunities extremely limited at San Siro this season, having failed to make a single league appearance under Brazilian coach Leonardo.
The youngster’s move to Tuscany will be the third time he has had to temporarily leave the Rossoneri, having previously spent loan spells with Reggina and Bologna.
Livorno have been desperate to bring in another midfielder following the departure of Antonio Candreva to Juventus last week.
The Amaranto currently reside in 16th place in Serie A, just two points above the drop zone and face a trip to Di Gennaro’s regular employers AC Milan this Sunday.
Di Gennaro is expected to make his Livorno debut next week when his new side host Juventus.

Sampdoria coach Luigi Del Neri has told the press he has left Antonio Cassano out of the squad once again this weekend. Without the talented striker, the Blucerchiati managed a 3-2 win over Udinese last time out.
"I won't summon him, regardless of his physical condition, which now forces him to train separately," he revealed during a press conference, according to Il Corriere Dello Sport.
"I hope I don't have to talk about these things again. This is a technical and tactical choice, at this time the duo of [Nicola] Pozzi and [Giampaolo] Pazzini give me ample guarantees going forward. In Udine, they played well and I don't intend to change anything."
The former Roma and Atalanta boss was coy regarding when and if the 27-year-old would return to the line-up.
"Cassano will be selected when appropriate," he concluded.
Del Neri's latest statements are likely to fuel speculation that the former Real Madrid player is leaving the Marassi, with Manchester City reportedly interested in securing his services.

Roma are planning to keep Nicolas Burdisso on a permanent basis, claims the player's agent Fernando Hidalgo.
Burdisso is on loan with the Giallorossi until the end of the season. Inter detain his permanent rights, but talks are underway to bring him in for good.
"We will speak about this further, but there needs to be an agreement with Inter," Hidalgo told Teleradiostereo.
"I spoke with [Roma director Daniele] Prade and he confirmed the club's intention to keep Burdisso.
"However, there is no rush to close this operation now as the player is Roma's until June."
The Argentinian defender joined the Lupi last summer as Jose Mourinho allowed him to leave as part of his squad-trimming scheme.
