Johnson in City squad to face Aris

Carlos Tevez and Mario Balotelli have both been included in Manchester City's squad to face Aris Salonika in the Europa League, while there is also a space for rarely-seen midfielder Michael Johnson.

City manager Roberto Mancini has named a strong squad to face the Greek side in the last 32 of the competition with the inclusion of Tevez, who has started only two games in the competition so far, evidence of their intent.
Italy international Balotelli makes the trip as he seeks to make his first appearance since December 28, having overcome a knee injury, while £27 million striker Edin Dzeko is also in contention.
However, the surprise name in the squad is central midfielder Johnson, 22, who has not represented the club since October 2009. He could be given his chance as James Milner and Nigel de Jong are both injured.
Goalkeeper Joe Hart hopes the Europa League tie will give City the chance to immediately put their 2-1 derby defeat to Manchester United at the weekend behind them.
"It's deflated us a bit, but you've got to pick yourselves up and move on," Hart said. "You can't give up. If you're going to do that then there's no point in turning up every week. We are here to win games, do well for Manchester City and push the club on. That's not changed.
"We are still in the hunt for trophies, and we want to make it happen. The derby has gone. It's unfortunate that we lost, but we have to brush ourselves down and carry on. We've got the Europa League and the FA Cup as well as the Premier League to focus on."
