Manchester United again linked with Qatar Holdings £1.6bn take over

Manchester United are close to being taken over by Qatar Holdings in a £1.6 billion deal, according to a report.

While all eyes are on the Manchester derby at Old Trafford, the Glazer family are close to a deal to sell the club according to the Daily Express.

If a deal goes ahead at that price, the controversial Americans will have doubled their money on the Old Trafford club having paid £790m for it back in 2005.

United have consistently denied that an approach has been made for the club and that one would not be welcome.

　　儘管曼聯官方一直否認有興趣將紅魔賣給卡塔爾有王室背景的Holdings集團，但這次卡塔爾人要動真格的了。知情人士稱，卡塔爾Holdings集團的所有人，謝赫-哈馬德-本-哈利法-阿勒薩尼殿下最多能承受的報價是20億鎊。

　　《每日快報》稱，其實早在上個月，雙方就已經展開秘密談判了，但因為價格分歧未能達成協議。隨後，曼聯官方闢謠，稱格雷澤家族並未與卡塔爾Holdings集團談判。《每日快報》報導，謝赫-哈馬德-本-哈利法-阿勒薩尼殿下在原先15億鎊報價的基礎上，又增加了1億鎊，而16億鎊的報價，讓格雷澤家族心動不已，雙方原則上已達成了協議。一位消息靈通人士對《每日快報》透露，「協議即將完成，他們僅僅是在談論很多細節問題。」

　　去年5月份，英國哈囉斯百貨商店以15億鎊的價格出售給了卡塔爾政府控制下的投資公司，在倫敦成功申辦2012年奧運會後，卡塔爾人又購買了5億鎊的倫敦奧運村股票。此外，倫敦的海德公園、位於倫敦橋的碎片大廈，也都成了卡塔爾人的資產。而收購曼聯，將是卡塔爾人繼買斷巴薩的球衣胸前廣告、成功申辦2022年世界盃後，在世界足壇掀起的第三番瘋狂浪潮。
