Massimo Moratti says that Andrea Poli and Diego Forlan are likely to be the last of the new arrivals at Inter this summer.

The Nerazzurri made Poli’s loan move from Sampdoria official yesterday, while Forlan has now arrived in Milan ahead of his switch from Atletico Madrid.

“It’s probable that they will be the final signings of the summer, even if we’ll have to see what happens,” the President told the Corriere dello Sport.

“The Uruguayan is certainly an important and a good reinforcement for us, he’s won a lot on the international stage.

“Rodrigo Palacio of Genoa? I don’t think that he will arrive.”

Moratti was also questioned about Gian Piero Gasperini’s probable use of the three-man defence in the campaign ahead.

“We’re just lining up differently, but there is faith in our Coach,” continued the Nerazzurri chief.

“A three-man defence shouldn’t be a problem. If the players enjoy themselves and things go well then that will be perfect.

“Otherwise, I think the Coach himself will change things.”
