Espanyol hope for Coutinho agreement

Espanyol are eager to retain Inter Milan midfielder Philippe Coutinho beyond the end of the season.
Brazil international Coutinho, 19, moved to Espanyol on loan in January and has impressed during his brief stay in Spain.
Espanyol director Ramon Planes has now revealed the club are planning to make a bid to keep Coutinho at the club on a permanent basis.
"Nothing is impossible," Planes told COM Radio. "We appreciate the fact that he came here when he had other options. If both he and the club are happy, you never know what can happen in football."
Coutinho said last month that he would consider a permanent switch.
"I would like to stay, but I am not thinking about the future," Coutinho said. "A player always wants to be playing and I am enjoying the time I have played."
