Juventus confirm friendly fixtures

It looks set to be a fascinating pre-season for Juventus after the club officially confirmed three friendly fixtures to be contested between the end of the summer training camp in Chatillon and the Italian Super Cup game against Napoli in Peking. These will be played in place of the tournament in the USA.

Five days after departing Val d’Aosta, Conte’s men will fly to Germany to face Hertha Berlin on Saturday 28 July. The Blue-Whites will now be plying their trade outside the top flight following last season’s relegation, but still remain one of the most important clubs in German football after winning the Bundesliga twice.

Juventus will then move on to Portugal to play Benfica at the Estádio da Luz on Wednesday 1 August. The Portuguese giants enjoyed a solid run in last season’s Champions League before being eliminated at the quarter-final stage by eventual winners Chelsea. They boast a proud history, having won 27 championships and two European Cups since their foundation in 1904.

The Bianconeri will contest the last of these three friendly fixtures against Malaga in Salerno on Saturday 4 August. The Spanish outfit, whose fourth-place finish in La Liga secured qualification to the Champions League preliminary stages, will provide the opposition at the Stadio Arechi.

Werder Bremen have reached an agreement with Juventus to bring former Hamburg forward Eljero Elia back to the Bundesliga.

The move will go through as soon as Juventus announce the deal on the Italian Stock Exchange on Monday, due to financial regulations of the Italian club, but Bremen's director of sport Klaus Allofs confirmed that an agreement has been reached between the clubs and the player.

OFFICIAL: Lorenzo Crisetig To Spezia

A.C. Spezia have formalized the loan of Lorenzo Crisetig, the 19 year-old midfielder co-owned between Inter and Parma.

“Spezia announce that it has reached agreement with Parma FC for the transfer of midfielder Lorenzo Crisetig on a formula of loan. The Friulano born in 1993 is co-owned between the Ducali and Inter, the team that he played in youth systems from Giovanissimi Nazionali to Primavera. Reached the first team of Mourinho in the 2009-2010 season and in early January, first call-up for an official match in Serie A. He also represented the U-16 to U-21 Italian national which he was the youngest to debut ever.”

Inter For Pazzini Now A Past

Giampaolo Pazzini at training camp in Pinzolo has confessed that he feels no longer wanted by the club. “The club has made their choices and I am not in their plans,” he said. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter can now be considered as Pazzini’s past as the Italian striker is on his way out of the club in Milan.

“His statement was posted via Inter’s official Twitter account which effectively puts the stamp on a situation which has been known for some time. For the his future, there are a possible return to Sampdoria, Lazio, Fiorentina and Torino. For him, Inter are almost the past.”

Andrea Ranocchia With Uncertain Future

The future of Andrea Ranocchia remains in balance. Manchester City have denied that the defender is one of their transfer targets but this could be a strategy to lower the demand from Inter. The Italian is also appreciated by PSG who, after the collapse of Thiago Silva deal, are thinking about Ranocchia as a possible reinforcement for the defense.

The French club is the only one that could offer the 15 million asking price from Inter and everything should be clearer in the next 10 days. If he leaves, there is always Marco Andreolli behind the scene.
