    Inter Milan are believed to be winning the race to sign Marseille's left-sided player Andre Ayew, according to reports in France and Italy.

Marseille are reportedly seeking a fee of €18million (£14m) for the 22-year-old, who has been linked with Arsenal, Manchester United and Barcelona in the past.

But according to the French and Italian media, it is Inter who are prepared to meet the Ligue 1 side's demands.

The Ghana international claims to be happy at Marseille but admits he would relish a move if it was in the club's best interests.

"I am looking forward to pre-season and seeing what will happen regarding my future," said Ayew.

"Marseille is my home and I'm happy to be here. But if I have to leave to improve and the club get what they are looking for, who knows?

"Premier League, Spanish Liga or Serie A are all top leagues and to play there is to play against the best in Europe."

Brescia hit out at Juventus

Brescia have criticised Juventus for scuppering their attempts to sell Omar El Kaddouri to Parma.

The two clubs agreed a fee, but the attacking midfielder rejected the Stadio Tardini option after Juventus showed an interest.

The Old Lady have now pulled out of a bid and Parma too have decided to turn their attention to other players.

“It looks like the subject of El Kaddouri is over for Juventus,” Brescia chief Gino Corioni told Tutto Juve. “You’ll have to ask them why…

“I was ready to sell the player to Juventus, but they didn’t want to in the end. I should report Juventus because of this.

“The boy didn’t want to go anywhere else when he was told of the possibility of Juventus – and there were sides who could offer more than Juve.

“Juventus have ultimately damaged me and I don’t really want to say anything else.”

Milan fans were not happy after selling the family jewels to PSG

Some AC Milan fans were so outraged and disillusioned following the recent sale of marquee players Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva that they staged a mock funeral outside Milan's Via Turati headquarters this week, with wreaths and candles marking the 'death' of the club.

Other Milanisti didn't feel quite so morbid about the €65 million double sale to PSG and settled for suing the club for "false advertising", alleging that Milan marketed season tickets on the basis that Ibrahimovic and Silva would be playing.

Amazingly, the Italian club caved in over the fans' demands and released a statement that backed up the claim made by vice-president Adriano Galliani that any disgruntled supporter could claim their money back.

It read: "Milan has confirmed its readiness to dissolve agreements for season tickets for the first team's home games for 2012-13. This willingness is dictated by the need for class and affection of the club towards its supporters, and independent of any legal analysis."

Inter Milan sells stake to Chinese investor group

Italian football club Inter Milan says that a group of Chinese investors is to become its second largest shareholder.

In a statement Internazionale Holding, the parent company, said the group would acquire a stake but that the Moratti family would retain control.

It also said it would build a new stadium in partnership with a unit of China Railway Construction to be completed in 2017.

The Serie A club is looking to increase its presence in Asia.

The location of the new stadium has not yet been decided, the statement said.

The club said Kamchi Li, Kenneth Huang and Fabrizio Rindi would become members of the board of directors as a result of the investment.

The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Calling it a "new phase in the life of the club", Inter said the move was "aimed at expanding its presence in the Asian markets to raise new resources for the enhancement of its international future development and winning perspectives".

Inter is the latest European club to attract the attention of business tycoons from Asia.

English Premier League club Queen's Park Rangers is owned by Tony Fernandes, head of the Malaysian budget airline Air Asia, after he completed a takeover last year.

English Championship side Birmingham City is owned by Hong Kong billionaire Carson Yeung who took over the club in 2009, while Thailand-based Asia Football Investments owns Leicester City.
