Lille defender Mathieu Debuchy insists he still wants to leave the Stade Metropole despite the club stating that he won't be sold.
"I don't want to talk about my future,'' Debuchy told Canal+. "I heard what the chairman said. The transfer window is open until September 4 (in France). I still want to go. We will see.''
Rennes chairman Frederic de Saint-Sernin has confirmed club have received an offer for Yann M'Vila but refused to reveal the identity of the club. Saint-Sernin told Canal+ "He has a very concrete offer from England."
Although Barca players have thus far restrained themselves from using the phrase "Barcelona DNA", their collective talking up of Alex Song's abilities is getting a bit ridiculous. The latest offering is from Gerard Pique: "He is physically very strong and is good with the ball at his feet. We are open to his arrival. If he comes, and from what I have read he could do, we would love to have him."
