Inter Milan forward Antonio Cassano is set to become a Parma player by the weekend after his agent held talks with the Emilian club on Tuesday.

Cassano, 30, is to join Parma as part of a deal that will see Ishak Belfodil head to Inter, with Parma beating off competition from Genoa for the Bari-born striker’s services next season. “I can’t say that the deal has been done because we need a bit more time, but it will be a matter of two or three days at the most,” Cassano’s agent, Giuseppe Bozzo, told Parma Today.
