Reports coming out of France suggest that Olympique de Marseille have finally agreed a deal with Lille for Florian Thauvin, thus seemingly bringing an end to one of the more acriminious transfer stories of the window. Apparently, the French starlet, who had effectively gone on strike to push the move through, has penned a five-year contract with l'OM and the fee could rise to €15m.

Big news breaking in Spain that Manchester United will NOT meet the buyout clause for Ander Herrera. According to these reports, the deal is off. Note this isn't confirmed but more details will emerge very soon

Apparently a group of men claiming to be United representatives spent an hour at the La Liga offices in Madrid today, but it turns out they had nothing to do with the club and were presumably just attempting to get a cut of the deal in an elaborate fraud.
