Yaya Toure has confirmed he is unhappy with Manchester City after his agent revealed the midfielder felt the club had shown a lack of respect.
Toure's agent, Dimitry Seluk, gave an interview to The Sun in which he said the player was "so upset he's thinking of leaving" after City failed to wish him a happy birthday when he turned 31 last week.
After the article was published on Tuesday, Toure joked on Twitter that a card from the club had "just arrived" and added: "Must have got lost in the post. Haha."
He then appeared to suggest Seluk's comments did not represent his views on the situation.
Jokes aside. Please do not take words that do not come out of MY mouth seriously. Judge my commitment to @MCFC by my performances.

However, shortly afterwards the Ivory Coast international said he fully endorsed his agent's remarks and that he would elaborate on his position later after the World Cup.
My agent was trying to make a point here on my behalf, joke aside. It seems important for me to make a statement..i am going to do so.
