Spain announce 23-man squad for France and Macedonia games

Vicente Del Bosque has announced his 23-man squad for Spain’s upcoming games against France and Macedonia. La Roja take on France in a friendly on September 4th before getting their EURO 2016 Qualifying campaign underway against Macedonia four days later.
There were a couple of surprise exclusions from Del Bosque’s squad, most notably Gerard Piqué. On the other hand, there were some new call-ups included in the 63-year old’s squad. Mikel San José, Kiko Casilla, Raúl García and Paco Alcácer all received their first inclusions in the national side.
“Gerard is not yet fully recovered, but I want him around once he’s fit. We wanted to take a look at Mikel instead (San José) to assess the options we have.

佢由賓菲加外借回國終於踢西甲, 同另一位曾同莫拉達一齊為國捧盃的西班牙小國腳前鋒希望柏高.艾卡些爾做隊友 (不一定要爭華倫西亞正箭頭位)
但兩者論料子都係不可能跟莫拉達相提並論的

Del Bosque was also asked about the inclusion of Diego Costa, following rumours that the Chelsea striker had picked up a serious knee injury in training.
“Diego Costa? The doctors are telling us it is nothing, we are not worried about the injury.”
