Barcelona to move for Pogba this summer despite transfer ban, Isco as 2nd choice

Barcelona will reportedly try and sign Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba this summer by paying the fee for the player but waiting to officially register the French international when they transfer ban ends in January 2016.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona’s two-window transfer ban will not keep them from participating in their usual transfer activity, as the club intends to use loopholes in order to have several major signings lined-up when the ban expires in January 2016.
Pogba is one of the most coveted players in European football and while Barcelona cannot officially register him as a player until next January, they will try to rival the continent’s top clubs for his services but may ultimately lose out to arch-rivals Real Madrid.
Barcelona are hoping that by adding former AC Milan sporting director Ariedo Braida as their new international sporting director, the Italian can convince his friend, Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola, to allow him to come to the Camp Nou over the Santiago Bernabeu.
However, if Barcelona are unable to bring Pogba in, they intend to make a surprising move for Real Madrid midfielder Isco.
The report states that should Real Madrid successfully bring in Marco Reus and Paul Pogba this summer then Isco, while in fashion now, will likely be the odd-man out and would fit in well with Barcelona’s system.

Barcelona are unwilling to pay Isco’s €150 million release clause and are hoping that Real Madrid will lower their price significantly to stay within FFP guidelines and balance the books on what will be yet another €100 million spent.
