Wenger said Wilshere had apologised, but added: "One second of your life does not define who you are.

"He is not a smoker. He is sorry about what happened but he has to master his own life."

The latest is that Alexis is not ready. He is not far away, the Leicester game is a possibility. He is of course very difficult to keep quiet! He is training but it's light training. He wants to have a go [on Friday], but I think he is too short [of fitness].

Jack will join in normal training next week, ahead of schedule.

Alex is still out, but he is starting to practice again, not full training.
