add more... this is lower cheung sha... you can reach by any bus from mui wo.. (pay sectional fee, much cheaper)
hv been living here for 3 months, will leave in the summer holiday..
in lower cheung sha, we have two small beaches here. in the second beach, there is a small bbq area (in repair it seems).
quality of water is just normal (often with rubbish to be honest). the quality is quite good after storm, raining etc. such as today)
here are a few restuarants (opening on saturday, sunday), the first one you see is expensive and low quality food... not sure about others
on holiday, full of visitors.. 70% is expatriates.. pilot from nearby mansion, blah blah blah...
the wave here is 'not good', always broken in the midway... not that good a site for wake board... many ppl came here under the typhoon no. 3. a few days ago and left in no second since the wave was not good...
having been in city center for 20 years, living besides a beach (not necessarily Cheung Sha, of course) is PERFECT. the past 3 months were excellent. expectedly, the transportation here is expensive and not convenient (i was out in city once in the past month i.e.). (if you have no other choices, but live in HK, just live outside city center for a few months. you won't regret despite inconvenience.
i have some other photos (under typhoon 3 e.g.), but the attachment here is too small...
(if anyone comes here, i would receive you. ) |
